We are grateful for an update on Eliza!

Yesterday, Pastor Mark went up to visit Michael, Jamie & Eliza in Sacramento.

Today, Jamie’s mom (Gina) drove up with little sister Ruby to visit and then Michael is driving back home with Ruby tonight.  He will go back to work tomorrow and Jamie’s dad Sean will babysit Ruby while Gina stays in Sacramento with Jamie and Eliza.

Update from Gina:

“Today is just more waiting. Waiting for the seizure meds to go back to her baseline level. Waiting to see if she tolerates her feeds. Waiting to see if her choking stops…. Keeping Motrin and Tylenol in her to keep her fever down. EEG still going. Not going home anytime soon.”

Please pray for:

• The doctors to have supernatural insight and wisdom into how to best help Eliza so that she can come home.

• Eliza’s immune system to be strong and fight against any sicknesses.

• Eliza to stop choking and be able to eat again.

• For strength and stamina for Jamie & Michael while they are separated during the work week.

• For them to walk in the supernatural peace and hope that the Lord has for them.

• That the Spirit would bring to their remembrance any and all promises from His word that He knows would best encourage them.

• That the Spirit would minister to each of their specific needs as they care for and parent Eliza.

• That Michael and Jamie would have the hope and perspective that God desires them to have as they process Eliza’s lissencephaly.

• That every nurse and doctor would see 1) the reality of God and His loving care as they observe, encounter and engage with the White family and 2) that they would treat Eliza with the dignity and consideration that she deserves as a child of God though her life span on earth is anticipated to be short (barring a miracle from God).

• That God’s glory will be magnified in Eliza’s life and that Michael and Jamie would experience God’s nearness and presence.
