‘There is Hope’: Chaplains Encourage Hurricane Dorian Survivors
Since Hurricane Dorian struck the Bahamas last fall, the Billy Graham Rapid Response Team (RRT) has offered emotional and spiritual care to those facing devastating loss. “There’s a resilience in the Bahamian people that is remarkable, but many of them don’t know what today or tomorrow holds for them,” said chaplain Johnny Carey. “So, we’re here to listen to their stories and to reassure them there is hope in Jesus.” Take a walk along the road of recovery with chaplains and survivors, and hear the testimony of a woman who gave her life to Christ.
