Tuesday 8:00pm
From Jamie:
“Discharged and headed home for “home management” 🙌🏼
Dr. said it was up to us, and that since she is a chronic kiddo we could stay or go home! So we are outta there 😅🙌🏼 Time to be sick in comfier beds for all of us. 😂”
From Gina: They got home, settled and they are doing managed care for Eliza at home. She’s still sick and now the pharmacy is “hoping” they can get the flu meds in for her tomorrow 🤦♀️😵💫🤯 – always something!!!
Monday 7:15pm
Okay! So she is admitted up here in Sacramento. She has the same Doctor as the last two trips here 🙌🏼 They are planning on keeping her anywhere from 1-5 to possibly more days according to the Dr. 💀🤯😅 It kept changing in the conversation, TBD.
We caught the influenza B early enough that they are treating it with Tamiflu. So far, she is chilling, but it’s super obvious she feels awful. Thank you for your prayers. I’ll keep you posted as we know any more!
Prayer requests:
1) there is quick healing for Eliza
2) quick healing for me. I also have the flu (I’m guessing influenza B) and I’m extremely sick/fevering/uncomfortable, but trying to just stay focused on Eliza and push through!
3) that God provides answers to issues of seizures and lack of breathing that we have been facing at home without medical support
4) that we get her home and well enough for thanksgiving ❤️🩹🥺

4:00pm
Michael, Jamie and Eliza finally made it to the hospital in Sacramento.
On another note, Gina mentioned that they are hoping to get a phone call tomorrow from their insurance company updating them on the status of their in home nursing care. Lord willing, it will be re-instated.
11:30am
Gina let us know that Eliza has the flu which led to her seizures and breathing problems last night. Please pray for her healing. Ruby was sick last week and Jamie is also feeling a little under the weather. Please pray for God to protect and restore their health and that Eliza’s body will be strengthened.
Michael and Jamie are still in town at the local ER waiting for the transport to Sutter in Sacramento. The approval to transport her can take hours. They aren’t anticipating leaving anytime soon. Last time it took 8 hours from when they arrived at the local ER to get to Sacramento.
Gina had stopped by church to pick up some gift cards and cash that some of our team members had dropped of for Jamie and Michael for dinners. God’s provision is amazing. God has another team member scheduled to bring food tonight for Gina (Grandma) Shawn (Grandpa) and little Ruby (Eliza’s sister) who remain in town.
Every time I speak with Jamie or Gina they express how well our body is loving on them. They are so blessed by your prayers, your generosity and compassion. I am in awe at the perfect timing and provision of the Lord.
God is so good.
9:30am
“We woke up to alarms and Eliza was completely blue and unresponsive. She is now sleeping at the ER after an ambulance ride, and we are waiting to see the dr. Please keep us in your prayers.” – Jamie
Ruby is with Grandma Gina while Michael and Jamie are at the hospital.
