Hi Prayer Team,

Here are some current prayer requests regarding some of the moms we are serving:

Mentoring Ministry:

• Momma D (a non-believer): She is very broken and at a crossroads.  She was one of the very first abortion-minded moms we ministered to.  All of you (our prayer team) prayed for her and she chose to keep her baby even in face of health challenges, financial instability and other obstacles.  After 3 years she continues to reach out to Jen who has faithfully pointed her to Jesus.  Last week, Jen was able to have a very direct conversation with her encouraging her that her life won’t change unless she surrenders it to Jesus.  Please pray she surrenders to Christ.

• Momma H (a believer): We prayed for Momma H earlier in the month as we understood she was miscarrying.  Instead, her baby has been diagnosed with Turner’s Syndrome and will not live past birth.  Her doctors are encouraging her to abort.  She is very pro-life and insists on carrying her baby girl until she goes into labor naturally, even knowing that her sweet baby will die afterwards.  Please pray for her and her husband (and the grandparents) as they stand up to doctors, contradicting their advice to abort and daily live in anticipatory grief.  Pray for direction and wisdom in how to embrace this precious life God has entrusted to them, and for comfort in their grief as they are becoming parents under very different circumstances than they imagined or desired.  Pray for Hayley as she continues to minister to her.

• Momma A (unsure): We prayed for her at the beginning of the month.  She was convicted of trying to abort and instead chose life, but it’s becoming clear she may not have a relationship with Jesus.  Pray Fran has wisdom as she ministers to her and that she will accept God’s gift of salvation.

• Momma K (a believer): She has had multiple miscarriages and is having a hard time moving forward in her grief.  Please pray she will have eyes to see God’s goodness, receive God’s comfort and yield her will to His.

• Momma R (unsure): She recently delivered (and has 2 other kiddos).  She is very shy and quiet and would like help, but is in precarious circumstances and very dependent upon her family.  Please pray she will humble herself and receive all that the Lord has for her (in salvation and also allowing Him to provide for her through the body of Christ). 

Embrace Life Christmas List: We will be purchasing Christmas gifts for the moms we have been ministering to.

• Pray that we have His wisdom in purchasing the gifts He knows will bless each family.

• Please pray that Jesus uses each gift to powerfully express His great love for each mom and their kiddos.
