Gina’s update on Eliza this morning:
Eliza’s EEG was completed (the dr said there was no current seizure activity at this time)
She had tolerated feeds, her iv site was getting cranky, so the decision was made to remove it.
She got her first dose of seizure meds through her g-tube.
She was tolerating her (tube)feed and then threw up.
She’s had several events so our “steps taken to go home” just went backwards.
We will see if she has to get another iv today. Her little arms are so beat up.
At this point we are here another day and night.
Pray there are clear answers as to ‘why’ she’s vomiting- is it the virus she has or the formula — etc.. etc..
Jamie got 3 hours of sleep in a row which was DESPERATELY NEEDED.
