Update from Grandma Gina (Jamie’s mom):
“So Eliza had a better day yesterday— but vomited again several times early this morning…BUT SHE KEPT HER MEDS DOWN 🙌🏻🙌🏻
There is “CHATTER” about discharge today…🤷♀️🤷♀️🤷♀️
She’s tolerated most of her feeds… (but Jamie has literally held her upright all day and all night) to make that happen. Jamie is so exhausted! (Not to mention the chairs and couch beds are rough on the body!! 😳😳)
If they send us home Jamie and Michael are going to have to ride this virus out in “Eliza time”, (girlfriend takes a long long time to get over any illness) which means sleeping on the couch (holding her upright ); using suction when needed, and continue to figure out feeds….
Which is what we were doing before this whole hospital admission….
no one knows for sure why she vomiting…. But she’s doing it less so??? She’s better???? Ish??
Anyway, the drs will be in later on today, and we will know more information later on.”
