January is Sanctity of Life month!  You’re invited to participate in 3 ways with us as we share God’s heart for life and encourage others to consider the sanctity of life as well.

First, you’re invited to attend our Embrace Life Share Night next week on Tuesday, January 21st.  I encourage you to invite someone to come with you!

In addition to a ministry overview and hearing what God is up to with Embrace Life, we will have the privilege of hearing two testimonies:

1) Hayley Volfi will share her testimony of God’s comfort and faithfulness during 2 stillbirths which God used to birth our Pregnancy Loss Ministry and our Patrick’s Legacy Boxes.

2) Laura Viss will be sharing her testimony of God’s faithfulness as He ministered to their family during the 13 months they spent in the NICU of their daughter Myla’s life and even beyond as they grieved her death.  I remember praying for Myla when she was in the NICU and then I remember being at her memorial service with the Viss family. It was an anointed service and I recall being in awe of God’s powerful ability to comfort, bring hope and perspective in the face of one of life’s most traumatic experiences: the death of a child.  Come hear about God’s goodness and the life of His precious daughter Myla who we will all meet again one day.

Second, if you didn’t receive a prayer bookmark at church, you can grab one from the table this Sunday.

We are praying, not only for the protection of the preborn who are under threat of abortion, and for the repentance of all who promote, practice and protect abortion, but also for a spiritual revival that will impact everyone in our city, our valley and our state bringing many to Christ and transforming hearts to view life as sacred as God does.

Third, if you haven’t yet, you’re invited to drop off a new, unopen package of diapers at church for our Diaper Drive benefitting Modesto Pregnancy Center. It’s a blessing to provide diapers for the many moms in our community who are in need.

This Sunday is the last day to drop off diapers, but we will be collecting last minute drop offs until Thursday as we are delivering the diapers on Friday, January 24th!
