Many of you know about little Eliza White (17 months old). We have prayed for and ministered to the White Family as Jamie (her mom) began having difficulty with Eliza’s pregnancy. Recently Michael and Jamie White had little Eliza dedicated on a Sunday morning. Knowing the special circumstances of Eliza’s life, Pastor Damian gave Jamie the opportunity to share with the wider body assembled that day. As believers, we know that children are a blessing and we encourage parents to receive children as the gift that God intends them to be whatever the circumstances. Eliza is already 17 months old and as Jamie shares, the life expectancy for someone with Lissencephaly is 2 years. For Jamie and Michael, parenting Eliza will be a much shorter season than any father or mother would desire and in circumstances that no parent ever would wish for. Each life God creates is precious and filled with potential, worth and value. We as a fellowship have a front row seat to see God manifest His glory through Eliza’s life and His provision for the White family as He has called them to parent Eliza. Jamie’s gratitude and joy alongside little Eliza’s laughter are a glimpse of God’s love, His grace and His power. Revealing that He never leaves us or forsakes us. He is with us; bringing joy in the midst of trial as He equip us for hard things.
