White Family Update – 11/1/24
I wanted to give you all an update on how God is blessing the White Family!
First of all, what a treat to get to see them at the Harvest Carnival last night!! When I got to chat with them, Jamie and Ruby were enjoying the carnival games and activities while Eliza was being loved on and tended to by her dad Michael, her grandparents, and her nurse Yesenia.
And speaking of Yesenia, God has been moving in such sweet tender ways while providing for the White Family. It has been a privilege be witness to His goodness and power.
As Jamie continues to pursue the insurance company to reverse their decision, the Lord moved hearts and has provided temporary emergency nursing care for Eliza for the next 5 months. It is not as many hours as they previously had, but they are grateful for God’s provision.
The most beautiful part of this gift from the Lord?Jamie says that, this company created a contract with Eliza’s old nursing agency!
Eliza will now, not only have a nurse while they work out this insurance issues, but she will have Yeseina! The very nurse she has had since she came home from the hospital 1-1/2 years ago who has also become a dear family friend.
In addition to praying for the White Family, our Helps Team have been providing meals for them during this recent season. If you’d like to sign up to take a meal you can do that here.
In a recent conversation regarding all the ways God has been using our team to help their family Jamie commented that,
“My family would not be doing as well as we are if it were not for your willingness to be the hands and feet of Jesus towards us.”
What a privilege to not only see the Body of Christ loving and serving each other, but to be a part of it! Thank you all for your prayers and acts of service toward the White Family. It’s such an edification to the whole body as we each take our place and serve as He leads us.
